A. The Union shall be advised during the term of this Memorandum of management recommendations for contracting of work presently being performed by unit members which would directly result in a reduction in the number of permanent unit positions during the term of this agreement. The Union may request an opportunity to discuss these recommendations in the Labor Management Committee prior to any final recommendation to the City Council. Failure by the City to notify the Union under this Article may by subject to the grievance procedure (Article 2, Section 2-1) of this Memorandum.
B. The Management recommendations and final decision thereon by the City shall not be subject to the grievance procedure (Article 2, Section 2-1) of this Memorandum.
